The Spring Property Market

Spring has arrived! The clocks have just gone forward an hour so it's that bit harder to get up at 6,15am to get my son to school. O well, just another 4 years!
Winter in Piedmont wasn't too bad this year. We didn't have as much snow fall as previous years - but we were happy to see what we did get. It's always beautiful.
So how's the property market looking for 2011? We're really positive. It's taken some time for local people to recognise that they need to reduce their prices and this means that now there are bargains to be had. This is not always the case, we find in the very rural areas, especially south Langhe (the Alta Langhe) most sellers are just not bothered and they wont drop their prices to be in line with current values. So beware!
We only list properties that are in great areas (easy to get to, views, facilities, etc) and when we know the prices are reasonable and negotiable.
And I must mention.. we have many other houses we cannot display on our site because of privacy laws. Get in contact if you are searching for a good house!
