A Great Area to Buy Property - Asti Monferrato
I just came across a nice property, someone local told me about a friend of theirs that wants to sell.
The house is located just outside San Damiano d'Asti. This is great area to buy - for holiday homes or to permanently live in. It means you are minutes from the city of Asti (I much prefer Asti to Alba) and the motorway (highway) to Turin and Milan is just 10 minutes away.
The house is in a very tranquil location but only a 5 minute drive from the centre of San Damiano. This is still the wine area and there's always a lot going on. We've lived in this area for over 5 years and love it. Some areas where buyers traditionally go to are very isolated and it becomes a drag to travel for everything. Not so with this area - Turin, Milan, Alessandria, the coast - easy!
