What a beautiful property! Anyone visiting it will not disagree. The owners have lived here 23 years and as a labor of love spent 10 of those years restoring this incredible Asti villa.

Situated in the Monferrato Astigiano hills (Piemonte) in a beautiful spot within easy reach of Asti.

The house is surrounded by approximately 4,000sqm of all flat lawn giving ample play area and parking. At the rear of the house is a swimming pool, barbecue area, as well as a bread and pizza oven. There is no passing traffic and no immediate neighbours.

The first floor has a living room with open fire, beautifully handmade fitted kitchen, laundry, bathroom and dining room.

Our Opinion

If you really want (and it's a really good thing) to be near one of Italy's great cities then this is a perfect home. You have everything within easy reach - the yearly Palio horse race, festivals of wine, music and food - including the famous 'Asti Sagre', restaurants, an excellent shopping centre, cafes… We love Asti and rate it above Alba as a permanent home.

If you are considering buying a home in Langhe, visit this first. For the same money you will likely get a much smaller house in the Langhe and something that is a chore to drive to each time you visit. This is really as good as it gets!
